About Us

Planting Hope is a non-profit organization founded by three compassionate and dedicated nurses who recognize the importance of providing support and care for individuals impacted by substance use. We believe that all individuals, regardless of their chosen pathway to recovery, deserve access to compassionate, stigma-free care and support during times of crisis. As well as access to low barrier, no cost harm reduction supplies.  

Through our work and personal experiences, we have witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of stigma on individuals struggling with substance use. We understand that many individuals affected by substance use are reluctant to seek help due to fear of judgment and discrimination. This is why we are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals seeking help, support and safer use supplies. 

By promoting love, support, and autonomy, we are hoping to create a community where individuals are valued for who they are and given the space to grow and thrive.  

Through our work, Planting Hope provides individuals with the tools and resources they need to make their own decisions about their recovery and life choices. By recognizing that there is no one "right" way to recover, we empower individuals to take control of their own journey and make choices that work best for them. 

Planting Hope's mission is to provide education and resources to those in need, including individuals struggling with substance use, their families, and the community at large.  

By planting seeds of hope and unconditional love, this organization acknowledges that everyone deserves love and support, regardless of their past experiences or current circumstances.
